Most adults in Wisconsin who drink alcohol drink moderately and without complications. At the same time, alcohol-related problems are among the most significant public health issues in Wisconsin.<br>\u2022 For most women, moderate drinking is no more than one standard drink a day.<br>\u2022 For most men, moderate drinking is no more than two standard drinks a day.<br>A standard drink is equal to 14.0 grams (0.6 ounces) of pure alcohol.
