Unified Community Services Emergency Services program is seeking applicants for home-based/on-call Mobile Crisis Workers for weekends and holidays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (hours are subject to change based on need). Must reside in or very near Grant or Iowa Counties. Shifts are shared between several workers. Scheduling is flexible and this is a great opportunity for supplemental income!
Mobile Crisis Workers respond to a designated secure location within Grant or Iowa Counties to provide on-site assessment of a person’s mental health crisis and collaborate with other professionals to coordinate appropriate services.
Successful applicant will be employed on the basis of personal aptitude and life experience which demonstrates their ability to provide effective emergency mental health services. Bachelors degree preferred.
Pay will include a per diem for each shift on-call (whether or not responding), an hourly rate for assessment time/travel/documentation, and mileage reimbursement.
